I love Kalk bay- i often take a drive there, am always impressed with "how close" it actually is and wander around the old book shops, antique shops and smell the sea! I had a wander on Sunday on my own with my camera and then met my darling, and his brother, Ben, and girlfriend ,Candz, for a really lovely winter-summer lunch!
We all know and love the old fishing boats that Kalk bay is renowned for- their colours are inspiring, and after my weeks of Auction-ing, they seem like vintage treasure troves to me.

I love the Spanish/ Greek inspired tiles set into the centre of this table.... and of course fresh Oysters! I love the colours of the tiles and the green Rocket! This image and the one above was taken at one of my all time favourite restaurants... Live Bait.
