It is safe to say that I am not a baker but this weekend, I decided to put that aside and test my cake-making skills and use my beautiful pink kitchen aid. I made a cake! It was only ready by 8pm on Saturday evening, in time for my sister and I to eat huge chunks over hot tea, but, it was done! I felt I had achieved a little personal goal and my weekend was productive!
