Look at the beautiful floors in the image above, then the beautiful MiesVdR Barcelona chairs and modern table, mixed with the beautifully restored Louis XVI antique chairs and the contemporary light fittings... I find it too beautiful for words! The whole space has character while being simple.
An apartment in Barcelona I found while perusing the web (see the credits below). I feel that lately my choices of "Interior posts" have been rather opulent, I think this is inspired by the rainy weather, my love of antiques and then this obsession I have when old is mixed with new. I love gorgeous light floors, walls and furniture, mixed with heavier frames, artifacts and pieces- this apartment incorporates all these loves of mine beautifully.
I honestly could live in a space decorated like this, I find it mysterious and un-cluttered at the same time... wonderful!
I love the natural coloured rug here, mixed with the Timber floors, white walls and the art. Note the table and dining chairs in the background and its modern design, juxtaposed against the antique art and features.
