I didn't post on Friday, in fact this week past, my posts have been few- I am changing that. Its funny how in life we go through these ups and downs of " doing" and "not doing" ( Gym, blogging, calling people, tidying... and the list goes on...) Maybe its a good thing- maybe the cycles remind us that what we are now "Not-doing" was important to us and made us "better"- or that we don't miss it at all and our time should be taken up with bigger and better things..
I love my Weekend List... and this Friday and last, I didn't do one- I have now realised that its one of those things that I miss when I'm "not-doing" it... so here is a mid-weekend one that involves a bit of :
"What I've done and what I am wanting to do..."
- I watched Legends of the Fall ( yes, true, curled up in bed and after not watching it for maybe 8 years?)
- I cleaned my desk- wonderful feeling
- I looked through the Elle Decor May edition and felt very inspired
- I ate lots of Woolworths "Luxury Muesli Rusks"
- I Jump started my car and broke into R and my flat cos we locked the keys inside
- I had a glass of Bubbly at Barristers
- R and I had dinner at Tai Ping ( R75 special, very worth it) with good friends.
- We considered using a Lazy Suzan at TaiPing ( to be fully part of the experience).
- I saw my Dad after he had been away!
- I changed some lamp-shades in our little flat ( funny how it can make such a difference)
- I was happy the world didn't end.
- I want to have a cosy lunch
- I want to watch "A river runs through it" ( Lets call it a Brad-Pitt-appreciation weekend)
