Madagascar, Brazil Dreaming

Last night I had the strangest dreams, I dreamt of Madagascar of all places! R wants to go there at some stage, and I'll definitely be following him with my camera to this idyllic destination, but why I dreamt about it last night, I don't know.
Any way, I woke up with the tropics on my mind... Summer days, bright colours and island themes. I remembered this hotel I had poured over a while ago in the Style Files, and thought today, with my tropical dreaming, I needed to blog it.
The colours are fabulous and I love how rustic and simple it is, situated on Brazil's Bahian Coastline in the fishing village of Trancoso, the hotel goes by the name of Uxua Casa Hotel...

I'm not going to write much more, I think the images speak of Island Style summer days themselves.
I have included a collage, above, of some pod seats, and thought, maybe this can be what us Capetonians resort to for the moment, in our gardens, to get into the Madagascan/Brazilian "swing" of things! Enjoy...

My collage images are from he wonderful photographer, Gealle le Boulicaut,
as well as a colourful pod from what was featured on the Style-files
and a Pod for us Cape Town dreamers from Weylandts
