I really wanted to paint this weekend, it was a present for a friend. I didnt have the right paint brush though, and befor the weekend has started, it always seems to be over! I found this image on labelleavenue, and i liked it... although it made me feel like i should have painted!
I love finding "Cape Townian" artists to inspire me and I get a funny sense of pride when they from my city! I love this work, especially the splashes of colour!
I liked the image of the paints waiting to be used and the feeling it gives me, that feeling of being totally oblivious of passing time when one is absorbed in painting, drawing or sculpture. It's good for the soul....
